I was just thinking about what I should post, and asking God what should I write. Then I was reminded of what God spoke to me last year. So I went and digged out the pieces of paper I wrote it on.

Heavenly Father, I pray that You will bless this entry, it's something that You have spokened to me and I believe You desire to speak to many, Holy Spirit I pray let the hearts of the people who read this be open, speak to them and may their lives be transformed at the revelation of Your word as You speak, in the mighty name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Today we'll be looking at the story of Samson, found in the book of Judges chapter 13 to 16. Our main text for the first part of this 2 or 3 part series is found in chapter 13 of this book.

Samson was called to be a Nazirite even before his birth
Judges 13:4-5
[3] And the Angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, "Indeed now, you are barren and have borne no children, but you shall conceive and bear a son.
[4] Now therefore, please be careful not to drink wine or similar drink, and not to eat anything unclean.
[5] For behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines."

Who or What is a Nazrite?
Numbers 6:1-5
[1] Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
[2] "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When either a man or woman consecrates an offering to take the vow of a Nazirite, to separate himself to the LORD,
[3] he shall separate himself from wine and similar drink; he shall drink neither vinegar made from wine nor vinegar made from similar drink; neither shall he drink any grape juice, nor eat fresh grapes or raisins.
[4] All the days of his separation he shall eat nothing that is produced by the grapevine, from seed to skin.
[5] 'All the days of the vow of his separation no razor shall come upon his head; until the days are fulfilled for which he separated himself to the LORD, he shall be holy. [Then] he shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

What does it mean to be a Nazirite?
*Consecrated, set apart for the Lord, for His purpose (Numbers 6:1-5)
*Denying the pleasures of the world, their will and desire for the will and purpose of God (Numbers 6:3-4)

Paul beseeched the believers in Rome
Romans 12:1
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
[2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God

We see the same similar pattern here
1) "living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God"
Talks about being set apart, consecrated and seperated for the will of God.
Basically it sums up Numbers 6:1-5
2) "do not be conformed to this world"
It means not to love the world, the lust of the eyes, the lust of the world and the pride of life.
1 John 2:15-16
15] Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
[16] For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world

The fact that God called Samson even before he was born shows us something...
THE TRUTH. The truth that God have plans for our lives, and He has called us each to His purpose, each one unique and different.

Psalm 139:15-18
[15] My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, [And] skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
[16] Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When [as yet there were] none of them.
[17] How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! [18] [If] I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

Even before you were born God had a plan and future for you, even before you were conceived He had great thoughts about you
Jeremiah 29:11
[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Can you imagine?? If you can't it's normal because no man can or will be able to fully comprehend the omnipotence(all-powerful),omnipresence(all-present) and omiscience(all-knowing) of God.
Psalm 139:6
[6] [Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot [attain] it.

And it's because His ways and thoughts are not like ours, His is higher.
Isaiah 55:8-9
8] "For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways," says the LORD.
[9] "For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

God has a calling, a destiny, a plan for your life and my life. But it's really up to us if we want to walk in it, whether if we're willing to pay the price. It will definitely cost us everything, it'll cost our lifestyles, our desires, our ambitions, even some of our friends. Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, it's worth it if only you weigh things in the light of eternity, if only you weigh things in the light of the Cross which represent what Christ did for you and me, His death and resurrection.
Hebrews 12:2
[2] looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

What is the joy set before you today?
God/fulfilling your calling in Christ or the things of this world?

Let us consecrate our lives, will and desire to the Lord and keep in mind looking ahead to the goal(fulfilling the Call) daily and repent if there are times when we've lose sight of Christ and looking unto other things instead of Him.
Replacing the joy of the Lord with the joy of other things.

For those who do not know or believe in Christ, this is also for you, especially when this blog was set up to tell you the reality of God.

God have a plan and purpose for you, and part of His plan is that He wants you to be saved from the judgement of sin. And He had already provided the way, we only have to receive. And that's through believing in what His Son Jesus did for you on the Cross and accepting Him into your life to be your Lord and Savior.

The bible said all have sinned, and sin is what seperates us from God, but Christ came, died on the Cross and rose again on the third day. Christ is the door to the kingdom of God, no one can come to God accept through Him, and no one can know and fulfill the great plans and purposes that God have for him or her unless they enter into His kingdom. God's will is that you will believe and enter into His house, because He have great things He wants/desire to accomplish in and through your life.

If you want to accept Christ, follow after this prayer, if you mean it from your heart God will come into your life and your life will never be the same again.

Dear Jesus, I confess that I'm a sinner, I thank you for what You did for me on the cross, your death and resurrection, I believe You are the Son of God, and You alone can forgive me of my sins, Lord forgive me, Jesus i believe in You, I welcome You into my heart and be my Lord and Savior, in Your name I pray, amen.

Now if you've prayed that with sincerity, Jesus is in your heart now.
The next step will be going to a local church, because it is where the people of God meet, to encourage and help one another to grow in their faith :)

The Ignorance Of Man

When there is peace, there is no remembrance of God.
When life gets comfortable, there is no remembrance of God.
When we walk in the ways of our heart, in the sight of our eyes, there is no remembrance of God.
Man have gotten ignorant of His existence.

Read carefully what I have to say, do not take it lightly.

Eccl 12:1-7
[1] Don't let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and no longer enjoy living.
[2] It will be too late then to remember him, when the light of the sun and moon and stars is dim to your old eyes, and there is no silver lining left among the clouds.
[3] Your limbs will tremble with age, and your strong legs will grow weak. Your teeth will be too few to do their work, and you will be blind, too.
[4] And when your teeth are gone, keep your lips tightly closed when you eat! Even the chirping of birds will wake you up. But you yourself will be deaf and tuneless, with a quavering voice.
[5] You will be afraid of heights and of falling, white-haired and withered, dragging along without any sexual desire. You will be standing at death's door. And as you near your everlasting home, the mourners will walk along the streets.
[6] Yes, remember your Creator now while you are young, before the silver cord of life snaps and the golden bowl is broken. Don't wait until the water jar is smashed at the spring and the pulley is broken at the well.
[7] For then the dust will return to the earth, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.

Let us not be ignorant, for God has extended His grace towards us through His Son Jesus Christ.

John 3:16
[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1Tim 2:3-6
[3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
[4] who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
[5] For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, [6] who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

1Tim 3:16
[16] And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God* was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

God was manifested to us that we may come to remembrance of who we are.
He was manifested that we might be saved from the endless cycles of sin.
He had already came down to earth, and made known to all the earth His existence, and made a way for redemption, so that we have no excuse.
So that we faithless people know for sure that He exist, and also that we can for sure know that if we believe His testimony may attain eternal life.

So let us not be ignorant, for as great is the mystery, manifestation and sacrifice of God, great is the price and judgment of ignorance.

Christians are not spared from the disease of ignorance, let us be sober, living our lives holy and acceptable in the sight of God, let us not slight into the state of ignorance, that our hearts are hardened and fulfill with the lust of the flesh.

Children of God, do not take the grace and mercies of God for granted, do not let pride overtake you.
Do not be ignorant of the fact that you need God, that without His strength and grace, the continual renewing and refreshing of His spirit, temptation will soon overtake you.
Do not be prideful and take sin into your own hands.
Do not be like those without wisdom, discernment and discretion, for they are on a road to destruction.
Do not be lukewarm.
Humble yourself, build an altar daily, delight His presence daily, wait on Him daily, be fervent in prayer, tend the fire of God in your hearts, that you may live worthy of the blood of Christ that redeems you.

1Peter 1:13-19
[13] Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest [your] hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
[14] as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, [as] in your ignorance;
[15] but as He who called you [is] holy, you also be holy in all [your] conduct,
[16] because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."
[17] And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay [here] in fear;
[18] knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, [like] silver or gold, from your aimless conduct [received] by tradition from your fathers,
[19] but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Believers or not believers, don't be ignorant of the price of this gift of salvation,
before it's too late.
And again I say do not take the grace of God for granted

Father, thank You for your grace and mercy, thank You Lord that in You loving kindness You've not destroy us, oh how great is Your love, forgive this ignorant and prideful generation, wake them up, open their eyes to see, Holy Spirit reveal Christ to those who cannot see, help us Lord to take your grace and mercy seriously, help us Lord I pray, Holy Spirit help us to remember God and be passionate for His Name that we will not slight into a spiritual state of slumber and indifferent, in the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Thanksgiving

I wanna thank God for many things, too many to even say in an entry, but just wanna give thanks to God before my next post.

Thank God for every single person in my region, they are too many to be named haha
My leaders, always serving faithful in church, just by looking at their lives I've learnt many things, about service and about God.

My parents, the most important people in my life, teaching me since young the Way of the Lord, according to the teachings of Jesus or rather the Father, teaching me also the importance to put God first in ALL things, which is something I've learnt and kept since young.

Thank God for off days like today, where I can take a break from the lifeless cycles of work, that I can take this day to spend in His wonderful presence.
And thank God for putting at where I'm working at now, even though it's a difficult place to work at, but nevertheless I understood that it's to mould me into the person He wants me to be.

Thank God for giving me understanding, knowledge, even my intelligence, because it all comes from Him

Many times we gave too much glory to ourselves, or rather gives credit to ourselves, saying "it's because of our own efforts" or "it's because we are smart"
Simple minded !!! Is what I'll say to these people.
All things comes from God, so be grateful for all things, and give thanks for all things.

Through this thanksgiving I also want to teach something that's quite relevant to my next entry.
James 1:2-8
[2] Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
[3] knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
[4] And let endurance have {its} perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
[5] But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
[6] But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
[7] For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
[8] {being} a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

I mentioned about the job God placed me in is to mould me, and this is what He wants to make perfect in me. That by the testing of your faith produces endurance or patience, and let endurance/ patience have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Testing of faith, faith goes beyond trusting God, it touches to the very core of the things you believe and you love, which is God.
So if you believe and love God, you'll keep His commandments, as Jesus said this in
John 14:15
[15] "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

And what are the commandments of God, that those who fear and love Him should obey and keep?
Matt 22:37
[37] And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
[38] "This is the great and foremost commandment.
[39] "The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'
[40] "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

By the way I'm in service line, and everyone knows customers are not always good, it puts my patience and longsufferring and love to the test.
And neighbor goes beyond those whom you know, who stay near to you. It literally means everyone around you, in your life, your fellow brethren in church, your fellow countrymen. Even bad customers :)

And James says this next at verse 5, "but if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
Wisdom is more than just knowledge, to some this might be a new revelation, but it's true. It's knowledge, but it's something more than just knowledge, it's knowledge on how to run your life, the knowledge on which you conduct your life.
Proverbs 1:1-7
[1] The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:
[2] To know wisdom and instruction, To discern the sayings of understanding,
[3] To receive instruction in wise behavior, Righteousness, justice and equity;
[4] To give prudence to the naive, To the youth knowledge and discretion,
[5] A wise man will hear and increase in learning, And a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel,
[6] To understand a proverb and a figure, The words of the wise and their riddles. [7] The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of everthing from verse 2 to 6, the knowledge of the wise, seeing the importance of instruction.
Fools, simple minded people despise all these because like I said they are simple minded.

Again I say,if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God.
And ask believing, have faith, this is the faith define as trusting God's nature.
What's His nature?
In the second half of verse 5, He gives to all generously and without reproach, to those who believes.

As said in Hebrews,
Hebrews 11:1
[1] Now faith is the assurance of {things} hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
And the writer of Hebrews tells us on what we are to base our faith on, in this next verse.
Hebrews 11:6
[6] And without faith it is impossible to please {Him,} for he who comes to God must believe that He is and {that} He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

This is the nature of God, a rewarder of those who seek Him or ask of Him in faith.

If you ask and don't receive, is because you've doubt on His nature, double minded says James.
James 1:6-8
6] But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
[7] For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
[8] {being} a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

So what ever trails we're in, rejoice and count it all joy, because we're being perfected, from glory to glory, that we know, when we ask for anything, believing, we'll receive. Let us desire God's wisdom that we may walk worthy of this call which we've been called, to be children of God, ask in faith.

Christians and Churches Of The Last Days(Part 2)

Finally I'm gonna blog the part 2 of the series I was doing months ago. In case all you people have forgotten we're talking about the Laodicea church, which prophetically speaks of the state of what the churches and christians of the last days would be like.

Basically this is the passage of scripture that we have been talking about
Rev 3:14-21
[14] "And to the angel of the church *of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
[15] "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
[16] So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither *cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
[17] Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked--
[18] I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, [that] the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
[19] As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
[20] Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
[21] To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
[22] "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." ' "

On May 03, I talked about and explained from Rev 3:14-17. If you haven't read part 1 yet, then I would say without reading and meditating on part 1 part 2 will be of no effect at all, so it's rather pointless to read part 2 without part 1.

Lets pray,
Father in Heaven, I give you praise and honor and thanks, because you're worthy, LORD open my eyes to see and understand Your word, help me to be sensitive to Your voice.Holy Spirit help me, in the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

On May 03, I explained the condition of the churches, which have lost it's effectiveness as God's house and temple, thank God that He not only point out the problems but also gave us the remedy.

Today we'll basically be camping at one verse only.
Rev 3:18
[18] I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, [that] the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Anyway don't expect this to be short and sweet, because it's not going to be :)

Jesus said "I counsel you to BUY from Me".
What does He mean?
Can we really buy from God??
Obviously we can't, not with our righteous deeds or good works.
Isa 64:6
[6] But we are all like an unclean [thing], And all our righteousnesses [are] like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.

No matter how many good things we've done or are doing could allow us to earn enough credits to buy from God, because even our best efforts are infected with sin.

For Paul said in
Rom 3:23
[23] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Not even a rich man can buy from God, this which Jesus is talking about, no amount of money is enough.

Hear the words of Jesus
Matt 19:24
[24] And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Luke 18:24-27
[24] And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!
[25] For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." [26] And those who heard it said, "Who then can be saved?"
[27] But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

If riches and wealth could buy, then we the people who are in the last days, more rich and self sufficient then any other generation would be able to buy what Jesus is talking about.
In fact it is these riches and self sufficiency that make us miss out totally on what God is doing and what Jesus is saying here. Blinded !!

I guess by now you should be able to see how we can buy from Jesus.
The only way purchase or buy from God is found in Isa 55
Isa 55
[1] "Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.
[2] Why do you spend money for [what is] not bread, And your wages for [what] does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat [what is] good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.
[3] Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you-- The sure mercies of David.
[4] Indeed I have given him [as] a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people. [5] Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations [who] do not know you shall run to you, Because of the LORD your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you."
[6] Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
[7] Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
[8] "For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor [are] your ways My ways," says the LORD.
[9] "For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
[10] "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
[11] So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper [in the thing] for which I sent it.
[12] "For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap [their] hands.
[13] Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the LORD for a name, For an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off."

The only way to buy from Jesus, is Salvation
Salvation isn't just saying the sinner's prayer and being branded christian.
You may ask, aren't those people suppose to be christains??
True Salvation is what Jesus is talking about.
I like the way Paul describes Salvation.
Rom 10:8-12
[8] But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):
[9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
[10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11] For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."
[12] For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
Rom 3:21-28
[21] But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
[22] even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all *and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
[23] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
[24] being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
[25] whom God set forth [as] a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
[26] to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
[27] Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.
[28] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

Faith is the key to Salvation.
Faith in what?
John 3:16
[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Because Jesus said
John 14:6
[6] Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Then what is faith?
Faith is a word with many meanings. It can mean faithfulness
Matt 24:45
[45] "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

It can mean absolute trust, as shown by some of the people who came to Jesus for healing
Luke 7:2-10
[2] And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die.
[3] So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant.
[4] And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving,
[5] "for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue."
[6] Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, "Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof.
[7] Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.
[8] For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does [it]."
[9] When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, "I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!"
[10] And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well *who had been sick.

It can mean confident hope
Heb 11:1
[1] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Or as James points out, it can even mean a barren belief taht does not result in good deeds
James 2:14-26
[14] What [does it] profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
[15] If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
[16] and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what [does it] profit?
[17] Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
[18] But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without *your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
[19] You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe--and tremble!
[20] But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
[21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
[22] Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
[23] And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God.
[24] You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
[25] Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent [them] out another way?
[26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

What does Paul mean when, in Romans, he speaks of saving faith?
We must be very careful to understand faith as Paul uses the word, because he ties faith so closely to salvation. It is not something we must do in order to earn salvation, if that were true, then faith would just be one more deed, and Paul clearly states that human deeds can never save us
Gal 2:16
[16] knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

Instead faith is a gift from God
Eph 2:8
[8] For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,
[9] not of works, lest anyone should boast.

True Salvation
It is more than just confident hope, spoken about in Heb 11:1
By the tainted faith(confident hope) of ours, we choose to BELIEVE, and confess the work of Christ on the cross with our mouth, and when we do that BY GOD's GRACE and through the gift of His holy faith, given to us because of His LOVE and MERCY, thus we're saved and is able to have a RELATIONSHIP with His Son that helps us to become like Him.

So let no one boast, for it's not by our faith but by His grace and through His faith, we're saved.

So do you have what it takes to buy from Jesus?
Salvation is the key to buy from Jesus, and faith is the key to Salvation.
Jesus have laid out the conditions, have you met the conditions to buy?
If not then, confess with this prayer with faith.

LORD Jesus, I believe You're the Son of God, that You came down from Heaven, died on the cross for the sins of the world, and You conquered death, and rose on the third day victorious, Jesus I confess that I'm a sinful man, and Jesus I repent, wash me and make me clean, and I make You LORD over my life, thank you Jesus for redeeming me, in the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

About the content of the things which Jesus talked about or counseled us to buy, I'll talk about it in my next part, if not it'll be too long :)

God bless

About My Next Entry

I know this entry have delayed for quite some time, it's because God decided to teach me other things first, so that I can fully understand the remedy that He is telling us.

Please do go read Part 1 again, and really reflect and ask God to reveal and speak to you. It's extremely important that you understand the severity the matter.

PLEASE READ PART 1 OVER AGAIN. I know it's very long but it's extremely important,I do not know how to further emphasis the importance of it, because human words are limited or rather my vocab is limited. But I believe if you really meditate on it and let God open up your heart and mind, you will understand, just like He made me understand.

This Part 2 is as important as Part 1,because no matter how much conviction you have after reading Part 1,if you do not read and understand Part 2 fully it's useless. That's why it took me quite some time, because God took me through a journey that really opened up my eyes to see and understand fully the message He wants me to bring across.

Please go read and meditate on Part 1 again!!!! Part 2 is ready to be post, but I'm going to keep it first, Part 2 will be out on the 28th of July.

I do pray that all who visit my blog, brothers and sisters in Christ, that it won't be just reading another blog or another entry. But to read it and have a life changing conviction and experience with God.

For those who do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, to believe and have their eyes open to see the Messiah. That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came down and died on the cross for the sins of mankind and resurrected 3 days later, conquering death so that we can be reconciled with the Father and have eternal life.

My prayer to all who reads:

My Father in heaven, praise and honor and glory belongs to you, open the eyes of those who reads the word you've spoken, for your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, remove the dirt that's on the eyes of this generation that they may see you, high and lifted up. Bring understanding, conviction and transformation to all who reads these entries, for it's You using me, your servant, to tell of the things You taught me.Glory and honor and praise be to You and You alone forever and ever, Amen.

God Bless,
Isaac

Do You Have What It Takes??

I just wanna side track a bit, coz this has been the topic God has been speaking to me about when I was spending the last few weeks with Him.
This is not going to be long, just something I want to speak out and also in accordance to my series.Just something for you guys to think about. There will be no bible scriptures or anything...simply for you guys to read and reflect.

Many times we say and pray and ask God for a revival, to bring in the harvest of souls.
But it's amazing what God's view about all these is, it's all nothing....
Do you hear that?? Nothing...
We pray and pray and proclaim that we want revival, but is there one, just one...who really believe it so much, until it becomes an action??
Apparently not...we're just praying for the sake of praying..
We just want revival but we are not willing to change our lifestyles and our priorities in order to see that happen.
Sad to say, we are nothing more than christians who attend services and after that go do our own things..we do not have eternity in our hearts and minds.
Often times we criticise people for being a "Sunday" christian..but what about us??
Aren't we same?? The only difference is we attend more services, got a little bt more involved in ministry that's all...
Even ministry, God have also showed me the wrong motives or attitude towards ministry that many have.
We forgot what we ought to do.
Have we forgotten about the great commission??
Jesus said "GO!!" not ask you to sit on ur comfortable chairs and pray and pray, thinking that the harvest will just miraculously come in...

In the book of James, James said faith witout works is DEAD !!
There's God's view of all our hypocritical prayers and request for harvest, for revival. DEAD !!!
Have you ever wondered why our prayers are not powerful??
Other than sins and inappropriate prayer request,
There's a lack of faith..
We say we believe...say is easy..if faith is just saying we believe, than all our prayers should have been answered.
There's something called the act of faith.
Only through our actions then can we show forth faith.

Do we love God??
Don't answer too fast...
Love is also requires action...
Jesus say in the book of John, "If you love me obey my commandments" or in another translation "If you love me, you will obey my commandments"
What are His commandments??
To love God and love people...
By obeying this commandment, we will definitely do the great commission.
Coz if we truely love the people, we will reach out to them.

So the question to us, or rather God is asking,
are you willing to forsake or sacrifice the things in your life that is hindering you from doing what God had commissioned us to do?

If it is studies, then give it up...
Coz seriously,it's not worth that much of your time...
If it's television, throw it away
same goes to computer and other stuff...

Get rid of it, coz it's better to go to heaven without it than to go into hell with it.

Christians and Churches Of The Last Days(Part 1)

I sincerely urge you, who reads this to open up your heart and let God speak to you.
And also that it is vital that you read this with a heart ready to receive.
It's a very long entry but please finish it...
God Bless You..

Let's pray before we start.

Heavenly Father, open the eyes of my heart LORD so that I may see and understand the things that You say. Speak to me as I read, thank you LORD for Your Grace and Your Mercy, I give You all the Honor and Praise, in the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

I believe before reading this you have read the background of the place called Laodicea.

Rev 3:14-22
[14] "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
[15] "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
[16] So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

This are the verses that we will be camping on, it's a warning to the Laodicea church, it's a wake up call for them.

Let's start from the very first verse of the letter to the seventh church.
Rev 3:14
[14] "And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

Amen?? What is Amen??

This Hebrew word means firm, and hence also faithful (Rev. 3:14).
In Isa. 65:16,
the Authorized Version has "the God of truth," which in Hebrew is "the God of
Amen."
Isa 65:16
[16] "Because he who is blessed in the earth Will be blessed by the God of truth; And he who swears in the earth Will swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My sight!

It is used as an epithet of the Lord Jesus Christ
(Rev. 3:14).

to confirm the words and invoke the fulfilment of them.
It is used in token of being bound by an oath
(Num. 5:22; Deut. 27:15-26; Neh.5:13; 8:6; 1 Chr. 16:36).
Num 5:22
[22] and this water that brings a curse shall go into your stomach, and make your abdomen swell and your thigh waste away." And the woman shall say, "Amen. Amen."

The promises of God are Amen; i.e., they are all true and sure (2 Cor. 1:20).
2Cor 1:20
[20] For all the promises of God in Him [are] Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

The Beginning of the creation of God
John 1:1-3
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God.
[3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Why does Jesus make this introduction statement?
It is to say that He is the True and Living God, Faithful and always True, that all He says is true and if not obeyed or taken seriously, there will be a consequence to it.And he's the source of life and the beginning of all living in heaven and on earth.

Rev 3:15-16
[15] "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.
[16] So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

What is this verse saying?
I know your works...What works?
We have been called to be witnesses. Through the prophet Isaiah, God says, "[Y]ou are My witnesses . . . that I am God"
Isa 43:13
[12] I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And [there was] no foreign [god] among you; Therefore you [are] My witnesses," Says the LORD, "that I [am] God.

As Jesus said in His introduction too, that He is the Faithful and True witness.

Paul says in 1Cor 11:1
1Cor 11:1
[1] Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.

Imitate what??
What are we suppose to do?
Matt 28:18-20
[18] And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
[19] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
[20] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen.

James 1:21-27
[21] Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
[22] But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
[23] For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;
[24] for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
[25] But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues [in it], and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
[26] If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion [is] useless.
[27] Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, [and] to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Rev 3:16
[16]So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

BACKGROUND
Hierapolis was famous for its hot water baths that provided healing to those who go to it. The mountain beside Colosse had streams of cold water running down the side that provided refreshing comfort to those who drink from it.

Laodicea’s water was channelled from hot springs some distance away. The water that reached Laodicea was lukewarm due to the distance it had to travel. As such, the minerals in the water coagulated and caused the water to be bad. It caused those who drink it to vomit.

Cold water refreshes, Hot water brings healing
They are both useful, but lukewarm water caused those who drinks it vomit.

It makes Christ vomit...disgusted.

In order to bring refreshing and healing to others we are to be close to Jesus cause He's the SOURCE!!!

Modern synonyms of the word "lukewarm" give illuminating insights into its use in this letter: lacking ardor, enthusiasm or conviction; moderate; mild; unemotional; halfhearted; hesitant; indecisive; irresolute; uncertain; uncommitted; unresponsive; indifferent; impassive; languid; phlegmatic; apathetic; nonchalant; lackadaisical.

Lukewarm water indicates those who are complacent and thinking that they are alright, but in actual fact they are not.
They are people who are not fervent in seeking God,reading His word and drawing from Him.
They are people who compromise and say "I'm too busy"
Who says "It's alright to lie, it's just a white lie." etc..
Every week comes to church, just to hear the word of God and is not applying it to their daily lives, not getting involve in ministry.
They are hearers and not doers of His word.
Compromising to the world's conduct and ways of doing things, instead of doing what's right.
They say they love God but their heart is far alway from him.

Matt 15:8-9
[8]'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with [their] lips, But their heart is far from Me. [9] And in vain they worship Me, Teaching [as] doctrines the commandments of men.' "

These are the christians that disgust God.
He will vomit them out of His mouth.
The greek word emeo, literally means "to vomit, throw up"

Just like the Laodiceans, they are rich, busy, self sufficent.
Giving countless excuses, and still thinking that they are alright with God.

The physical man looks at his material and social circumstances and evaluates himself as spiritually sound. On the other hand, the spiritual God looks at the same person and sees spiritual poverty.

Rev 3:17
[17]Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked

Jesus describes them as wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked...

Remember the Laodiceans have 3 particular claims to fame.

1. It was a financial and banking center.
2. It was the location of a famous medical school know for the
eye salve it produced.
3. It was a clothing manufacturing center.

POOR,BLIND and NAKED !!!
The three industries that they claim to be famous about...and Jesus is saying that they have nothing.
The lukewarm has made a false profession. This church
is rich and prosperous and have no lack. They
confuse wealth and prosperity with spirituality and spiritual
blessings. Worship, Bible study, prayer, missions, witnessing,
all were done as a matter of form. There was no hunger or
thirst after God. No desire for Gods Word, no burden for the
lost, no sense of needing to grow spiritually.

These are the kind of people described by Paul to Timothy and to the church in Rome as a warning.
Rom 1:18-32
[18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
[19] because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown [it] to them.
[20] For since the creation of the world His invisible [attributes] are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
[21] because, although they knew God, they did not glorify [Him] as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
[22] Professing to be wise, they became fools,
[23] and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
[24] Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
[25] who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
[26] For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.
[27] Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
[29] being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; [they are] whisperers,
[30] backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
[31] undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
[32] who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

2Tim 3:1-7
[1] But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
[2] For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
[3] unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
[4] traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
[5] having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! [6] For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
[7] always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Lukewarmness disgusts Jesus and truely it is disgusting.
To say you are a christian and not living according to what the word says.
2Tim 3:5,7 "having a form of godliness but denying it's power","always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth"

Rom 1:32"who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them."

Do we compromise?
Are we complacent?
Are we conformed to the pattern of this world?
Are we like those who are not saved, indulging in sinful pleasures?
Does our speech and mannerism and what we do reflect Jesus?
Are we consecrated and set aside for God??
Are we fervent in seeking God and reading His word?
Do we have an intimate walk with Him??
Are we refreshing to others?
Are we a place of healing to others??
Or are we disgusting and causes people to stray away from the true and living God!!
If we are lukewarm, then are we going to stay there or are we going to move on??
Is there a remedy??

Background

I'm extremely sorry for taking so long for this entry.
This is still not the entry itself but this is the background of the series I'll be posting on.

I'm not sure if it'll be a series or not but most likely it is going to be a 2 part or 3 part series.

This will be the verse we'll be camping at during the course of this series.

Anyway I really think it's vital to know the background of this City called Laodicea first before I post the entry on it.

Background
First-century Laodicea sat astride two major trade routes. The first road ran from Rome eastward into Asia Minor, then beyond to Cilicia where Paul was born. At Derbe it split: One leg went to the south through Damascus and on into Egypt; the other leg struck across the east to Mesopotamia, the ancient home of Babylon. Connecting the city to southern Europe through Byzantium, the second route entered Laodicea from the north and continued to the Mediterranean.

The founders built the city in the Lycus Valley where these routes crossed. This provided Laodicea with unlimited opportunities for trade but caused other significant problems. Ideally, prosperous cities are built close to abundant natural resources, especially water. Great cities are usually founded on deep natural harbors or on the banks of navigable rivers where water is abundant. Unfortunately, Laodicea was not established near an adequate water supply. More driven by trade, its builders located it where the roads crossed.

However, the city had much in its favor, and of special note were its three main industries. The Laodiceans produced a glossy, black wool that was prized by the wealthy all over the world. No one knows whether its rich color came from a particular strain of sheep that they bred in the area, or whether they dyed it, but the quality of the wool is indisputable. In fact, they cornered the market in this commodity, producing tremendous wealth.

Their second business was medicine. Laodicea boasted of one of the most renowned medical schools in the world, and with it came all of its associated industries like pharmaceuticals. They produced a world-famous salve, reputed to cure certain kinds of eye diseases. Another salve supposedly healed ear problems. People came from all over the Roman world in search of remedies for their ailments.

These two industries produced a third that multiplied their already vast wealth—banking. Laodicea became a center of currency exchange and money lending. Cicero, it is said, cashed huge bank drafts there. So huge were its assets that, when it was demolished by a first-century earthquake, the city refused Rome's offer of help, rebuilding with its own funds.

So Laodicea had a monopoly in textiles, a world-renowned medical industry, and a prosperous financial center. Writers of the ancient world speak openly of their envy of Laodicean wealth. Record after record attests to their status.

Their one weakness was the water supply. Water had to be piped in to Laodicea. Cold water could come from the abundant supply at Colossae, but by the time it traveled the ten or so miles from the cold springs, it was lukewarm. About six miles away in Hierapolis were hot springs, but that water, too, was lukewarm when it reached Laodicea. Whether they piped in the cold or the hot water, it arrived at Laodicea lukewarm.

After you finish reading, pray and meditate on Rev 3:14-22
And I am sure when you read my next post you will understand better and more in depth of what the Spirit of the LORD is saying.

God type='text'>Success In and Through Christ (Part 2)

Here's Part 2 :)

Heavenly Father, My LORD and My Saviour, let speak to them O LORD, help them LORD to understand and help me My LORD to convey your message over to them clearly the way you spoke to me, Father I give you all the praise and honor for you alone are worthy, thank you LORD, in the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

It is very important that you read this with an open heart ready for God to speak to you, read all the verses, read every word and do not skip.

In Part 1 we see that Solomon's success and acheivements in the end amounted to nothing, as he himself wrote in Ecclesiates 1:2-4

Ecclesiates 1:1-4
[2] "Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher; "Vanity of vanities, all [is] vanity."
[3] What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun?
[4] [One] generation passes away, and [another] generation comes; But the earth abides forever.

All is in vain, all acheivements is all in vain !!!
Solomon's treasures are all on earth, all his riches, all his success and acheivements are all on earth and have no place in the Kingdom of God.

Jesus says in
Matthew 6:19-21
[19] "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
[20] but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
[21] For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

How true is verse 21?

It is true and very real...Solomon's treasure is on earth,it is on the earthly pleasures and acheivements and there is where his heart is.

His heart is not with God, Solomon is a typical backslider, medicore christian....after being blessed by God, his passion for God slowly fades away....as we can see..at his fall, if he has the love for God and the fear of God he wouldn't give in to sin.

So it's obvious his heart is not with God where it should be...but with all his acheivements and wealth...his treasures.

Joseph said when Potiphar's wife seduced him.
Gen 39:9
[9]"....How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?"

Joseph's heart is in God...and so is his treasures...he didn't fall to lust like Solomon did.
1Kings 11:1-5
[1] But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites--
[2] from the nations of whom the LORD had said to the children of Israel, "You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods." Solomon clung to these in love.
[3] And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart.
[4] For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David.

As you can see...first he fall into temptation then slowly temptation when full-grown brings forth death just like what James said in
James 1:14-15
[14] But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. [15] Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

So How to have true success?

Obey His commandments, walk in the fear of God...

Deut 7:11-14
[11] Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them.
[12] "Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.
[13] And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.
[14] You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock.

Deut 8:1
[1] "Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers.

1Kings 3:14
[14] So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days."

1Kings 9:4-5
[4] Now if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My judgments,
[5] then I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I promised David your father, saying, 'You shall not fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.'

And most importantly is to have Jesus Christ in you.
He is the wisdom of God that Solomon asked for as I said in Part 1.
He is the one who gives life and life more abundantly.

As He said,
John 10:10
[10] The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have [it] more abundantly.

LIFE!!!! He gives life, and life more abundantly.
You may ask what is life??
Life is the pressence of God..God is life, God brings life.
Life is the wholesomeness, emotion, financial, spiritual, physical

So what is Jesus saying?
He is saying that He is here to make all things new.
Rev 21:3-5
[3] And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
[4] And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
[5] Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."

Total freedom and wellness, that's what Jesus did on the cross.
Freedom from sin,
Freedom from death,
Healing for the sick,
Breaking of the curse that Adam brought to this earth,

Jesus did all this for us, so in Him we can have success, true success.
And not success of vanity.

Love Him, Seek Him, spend time with Him, get intimate with God, walk closely by His side and He will show you the way, He will teach you and lead you in every step that you take.

Be worthy of Him,take up the cross and follow Him,love Him with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength.

Matthew 10:37-38
[37] He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
[38] And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

Mark 12:29:31
[29] Jesus answered him, "The *first of all the commandments [is]: 'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. [30] And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This [is] the first commandment. [31] And the second, like [it, is] this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these.

For closing, I would like to close with the last words of Solomon in Ecclesiates
Ecclesiates 11:9-10; 12:1-14
[9] Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, And let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; Walk in the ways of your heart, And in the sight of your eyes; But know that for all these God will bring you into judgment. [10] Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth [are] vanity.

Chapter 12
[1] Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, "I have no pleasure in them":
[2] While the sun and the light, The moon and the stars, Are not darkened, And the clouds do not return after the rain
[3] In the day when the keepers of the house tremble, And the strong men bow down; When the grinders cease because they are few, And those that look through the windows grow dim;
[4] When the doors are shut in the streets, And the sound of grinding is low; When one rises up at the sound of a bird, And all the daughters of music are brought low. [5] Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way; When the almond tree blossoms, The grasshopper is a burden, And desire fails. For man goes to his eternal home, And the mourners go about the streets.
[6] [Remember your Creator] before the silver cord is *loosed, Or the golden bowl is broken, Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, Or the wheel broken at the well. [7] Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.
[8] "Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher, "All [is] vanity."
[9] And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out [and] set in order many proverbs.
[10] The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and [what was] written [was] upright--words of truth.
[11] The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of *scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd.
[12] And further, my son, be admonished by these. Of making many books [there is] no end, and much study [is] wearisome to the flesh.
[13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all.
[14] For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.

Why do i put them together ?Ecclesiates 11:9-10; 12:1-14 because they are linked...
Seek God when you are young before your heart becomes harden and you have no fear of God no pleasure in the things of God...for those who are away from Him..
REPENT !!! i plead that you heed my advice, draw near to God, to the Father, He is always ready to receive you back with wide open arms.
Let not success blind us...lest we fall into the pits of Hell !!!

Success In and Through Christ(Part 1)

My Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Praise and Honor be to your Name, may your Name be Glorified, high and lifted up.I pray that LORD You will open up their eyes and their minds to see and understand Your Heart, and LORD Your will, speak to them oh LORD.Father I praise You and I give you thanks,in the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

This is a 2 part series.
Though the main points is in the 2nd part.
It's vital to know part 1 first.
In order to have the full impact of this message.

I've been praying and seeking God, asking Him what does He wants me to share on...I can say it's the toughest one cause it's something God is training me in and it's really a big entry.

On one hand, I was thinking of a less "wake up call" type of entry cause the past few entries are all to shake the christians up!!
But on the other hand, I wanted God to be the one that decides.

Basically the challenge is organising the word God has given to me.Alot of research had been done,so I can say it's the toughest, cause of the level of effort.
But most importantly, God's will be done.

Success,God wants us to be successful, to be blessed.
What is success to you?
Money,Fame,Power,Good Grades..etc

These God will bless, but if you focus is on the blessings and not the One in whom all Blessings comes from, then I tell you, even if you are the richest person in this world, you are not truely blessed.

You may say "Isaac how can you say that?"
Why not?
I will show you as I continue to reveal the message God wants me to bring accross.

For the start, lets look into the life of the man who had it all, King Solomon.
The richest, most famous, most powerful and wisest man that ever lived.

King Solomon sat on the throne when he was 12 yrs old.
In Gibeon,God appeared to him in a dream and asked Solomon what he want, ask and it shall be given.
1Kings 3:5
[5] At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, "Ask! What shall I give you?"

Wow this man could just ask for anything, and i mean ANYTHING, God would give it to him.Long-life, weath, power...playstation..etc
ANYTHING,and God will give it to him.

But hear Solomon's reply...
1Kings 3:6-9
[6] And Solomon said: "You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as [it is] this day.
[7] Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I [am] a little child; I do not know [how] to go out or come in.
[8] And Your servant [is] in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted.
[9] Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?"

What is judge?
It is to govern or rule.

Out of all that he could ask...he asked for wisdom to rule over the people of Israel.

Then see God's reply...
1Kings 3:10-14
[10] The speech pleased the LORD, that Solomon had asked this thing.
[11] Then God said to him: "Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice,
[12] behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you.
[13] And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.
[14] So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days."

Why Wisdom?
Wisdom is Jesus.
"Isaac why do you say that?"
Lets look at some scriptures.

John 1:1-3
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

John says, "In the beginning was the Word(referring to Jesus)"

Wisdom was in the beginning
Prov 8:22-23
[22] "The LORD possessed me(referring to Wisdom) at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. [23] I(referring to Wisdom) have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth.

John says in that same verse,"and the Word was with God"

Wisdom was with God.
Prov 8:30
[30] Then I(referring to Wisdom) was beside Him [ as] a master craftsman; And I(referring to Wisdom) was daily [His] delight, Rejoicing always before Him,

John says is John 1:1-3
That Jesus is the cocreator

Wisdom is the cocreator.
Prov 3:19
[19] The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens;

And in 1Cor 1:24
[24]....Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

So as we can see Jesus is Wisdom Himself..
There are so many more verses, that tells us Jesus is Wisdom Himself.
If you want it can get it from me.
But for now this is enough.

Wisdom/Understanding to discern between good and evil.
To be able to discern between good and evil is God.
Why do I say that?
Cause only God is able to truely discern what is good and evil.
Man...obviously cannot cause if we can, this World will be perfect, and there won't be so many millions of people just wasting their lives away.

It is said in Genesis,
Gen 3:5
[5]....and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

What is Solomon asking then?
He is asking for God to rule Israel through him..
That God be the ultimate authority over Israel.
For God to renew and EMPOWER and ENABLE him to rule Israel, with the wisdom of God.

Why is God pleased with Solomon?
Cause Solomon asked the things of God and not for his own personnal gain.

And God blesses him, let's have a look at his success.

On Military and Economic Power.
2Chron 1:13-17
[13] So Solomon came to Jerusalem from the high place that [was] at Gibeon, from before the tabernacle of meeting, and reigned over Israel.
[14] And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; he had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem.
[15] Also the king made silver and gold as common in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars as abundant as the sycamores which [are] in the lowland.
[16] And Solomon had horses imported from Egypt and Keveh; the king's merchants bought them in Keveh at the [current] price.
[17] They also acquired and imported from Egypt a chariot for six hundred [shekels] of silver, and a horse for one hundred and fifty; thus, through their agents, they exported them to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria.

On Fame.
1Kings 4:31-34
[31] For he was wiser than all men--than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the surrounding nations. [32] He spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were one thousand and five. [33] Also he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree of Lebanon even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall; he spoke also of animals, of birds, of creeping things, and of fish. [34] And men of all nations, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to hear the wisdom of Solomon.

On Wealth.
1Kings 10:14-29
[14] The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,
[15] besides [that] from the traveling merchants, from the income of traders, from all the kings of Arabia, and from the governors of the country.
[16] And King Solomon made two hundred large shields [of] hammered gold; six hundred [shekels] of gold went into each shield.
[17] He also [made] three hundred shields [of] hammered gold; three minas of gold went into each shield. The king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.
[18] Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.
[19] The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne [was] round at the back; [there were] armrests on either side of the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the armrests.
[20] Twelve lions stood there, one on each side of the six steps; nothing like [this] had been made for any [other] kingdom.
[21] All King Solomon's drinking vessels [were] gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon [were] pure gold. Not [one was] silver, for this was accounted as nothing in the days of Solomon.
[22] For the king had merchant* ships at sea with the fleet of Hiram. Once every three years the merchant ships came bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and monkeys.
[23] So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
[24] Now all the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
[25] Each man brought his present: articles of silver and gold, garments, armor, spices, horses, and mules, at a set rate year by year.
[26] And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; he had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem.
[27] The king made silver [as common] in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedar trees as abundant as the sycamores which [are] in the lowland.
[28] Also Solomon had horses imported from Egypt and Keveh; the king's merchants bought them in Keveh at the [current] price.
[29] Now a chariot that was imported from Egypt cost six hundred [shekels] of silver, and a horse one hundred and fifty; and thus, through their agents, they exported [them] to all the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria.

His Other Acheivements.
1Kings 9:15-28
[15] And this [is] the reason for the labor force which King Solomon raised: to build the house of the LORD, his own house, the Millo, the wall of Jerusalem, Hazor, Megiddo, and Gezer.
[16] (Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up and taken Gezer and burned it with fire, had killed the Canaanites who dwelt in the city, and had given it [as] a dowry to his daughter, Solomon's wife.)
[17] And Solomon built Gezer, Lower Beth Horon,
[18] Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land [of] Judah,
[19] all the storage cities that Solomon had, cities for his chariots and cities for his cavalry, and whatever Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.
[20] All the people [who were] left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, who [were] not of the children of Israel--
[21] that is, their descendants who were left in the land after them, whom the children of Israel had not been able to destroy completely--from these Solomon raised forced labor, as it is to this day.
[22] But of the children of Israel Solomon made no forced laborers, because they [were] men of war and his servants: his officers, his captains, commanders of his chariots, and his cavalry.
[23] Others [were] chiefs of the officials who [were] over Solomon's work: five hundred and fifty, who ruled over the people who did the work.
[24] But Pharaoh's daughter came up from the City of David to her house which Solomon had built for her. Then he built the Millo. [25] Now three times a year Solomon offered burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar which he had built for the LORD, and he burned incense with them [on the altar] that [was] before the LORD. So he finished the temple.
[26] King Solomon also built a fleet of ships at Ezion Geber, which [is] near Elath on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom.
[27] Then Hiram sent his servants with the fleet, seamen who knew the sea, to work with the servants of Solomon.
[28] And they went to Ophir, and acquired four hundred and twenty talents of gold from there, and brought [it] to King Solomon.

For those who consider having lots of girlfriends as successful...try to beat this.
1Kings 11:3
[3] And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines...

All these are Solomon's level of success.
Many would consider Solomon successful.
But is he really?

Solomon wrote The Book Ecclesiates
Ecc 1:2-4
[2] "Vanity of vanities," says the Preacher; "Vanity of vanities, all [is] vanity." [3] What profit has a man from all his labor In which he toils under the sun? [4] [One] generation passes away, and [another] generation comes; But the earth abides forever.

Vanity....all is in vain...
What is acheivements and weath and power??
What is having certificates and degrees and fame?

It will all amount to nothing one day!!!!
Solomon had it all....EVERYTHING !!!
But Solomon is still not satisfied.

Why?
Cause in his heart God isn't there.
The pressence of God had departed from him.

When?
1Kings 11:1-13
[1] But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites--
[2] from the nations of whom the LORD had said to the children of Israel, "You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods." Solomon clung to these in love.
[3] And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart.
[4] For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David
[5] For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
[6] Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and did not fully follow the LORD, as did his father David.
[7] Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the people of Ammon.
[8] And he did likewise for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.
[9] So the LORD became angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned from the LORD God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,
[10] and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he did not keep what the LORD had commanded.
[11] Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, "Because you have done this, and have not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom away from you and give it to your servant.
[12] Nevertheless I will not do it in your days, for the sake of your father David; I will tear it out of the hand of your son.
[13] However I will not tear away the whole kingdom; I will give one tribe to your son for the sake of My servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen."

Solomon disobeyed God.
He was too caught up with "life"
No time for God...and slowly God became someone so far away.
That's why he worshipped other Gods...to fill the emptiness inside, even though he knows who is the real God.

Then how then can we can have true success?
Only through Jesus Christ.

Part 1 is done...
In Part 2 I will talk about the key points to success and why Jesus is the way to success.
Success that is greater than that of Solomon!!!

My Next Entry

Hey guys, I've been really seeking God to help me with this one, He spoke to me about something BIG that's why I'm still seeking Him for this particular entry.
Everything is very much in my head. But it's just too BIG man.
Organising it is really a challenge, and I'm praying for God's help, that I can convey His message clearly.

Anyway God wants us to be successful.
What is success to you?
Money? Having alot of friends? Having Power?

Go think about it as I prepare this entry :)
Sorry for the wait though haha
Patience is good, cause good things have to wait :)
Most probably tomorrow night,or Sunday night :)

WAKE UP CALL !!!!!!!!!!!

My prayer for this entry is:

Heavenly Father in heaven, Praise and Honor and Glory be to your Holy Name, may you reveal yourself to those who reads this and may the Will of the LORD be done.
Help them understand your heart, may their lives be changed from this point on. Speak to them Father. In the Name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

I really think christians these days needs a wake up call, cause you know what? Not all who says I'm a christian can go to heaven, not all who say that Jesus is my LORD and Saviour can go to heaven...do you know that?

I'm really sick and tired of christians finding excuses saying..."I've to study it's O levels....." rubbish....hey people please get your focus and perspective right..do u study to glorify God? Or for your own sake that you can have a "good future"?

If it's to glorify Him then shouldn't you spend more time in ministry and serving God and His people?? Seeking Him first and trusting that He is the One who's going to provide the results?? Is your faith that shallow??

If you try so hard on your own then what kind of testimony are you giving since it's all your effort??
Shouldn't your testimony be like this??
"God is faithful, as I honors Him, and serve Him wholeheartedly, He blesses me back many folds, with my good results in my studies, He is good, praise be to His name :)"

Then tell me what have become of your testimony to people??
Won't they say "Hey you are just the same as us, studying so hard everyday, so where's your God ?"

Of course I'm not asking you ppl not to put in effort and study
James 2:26
[26] For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

But if studying is more than the time you are seeking God...than I tell you, you are in big trouble, and that you are no different from those who are going to Hell cause God will say to you when you stand before Him that day.
(Matt 7:23) "I never knew you"

Cause in Rev 3:16 God says

"[16] So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither *cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."

Same goes to all the things in life pertaining to the world....that draws you alway from God, who is first in your life? God? Satan?
You might say, neither it's me....then that too also is of Satan cause anything pertaining to the flesh is sin, and anything related to sin is The Devil,Satan.

Is our purpose in school to reach out to ppl???
Obviously it is, if not why do God put u in that school for?
To pursue after studies instead of Him?
Obviously NOT!!!

The Bible says in
Rom 12:2
[2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

If we so pursue after the things which ppl who are not saved pursue and work so hard for...are we not the same??

Then what separates us from the world then?? If we have the same mannerisms, attitudes and behaves as those who are not of Christ??

2Cor 6:14-16
[14] Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? [15] And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? [16] And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?
Therefore I tell you now to separate yourself from that which is of the world, lest you too be judge together with them.

Make sure your focus is right be on fire for God....let the standard of ur behaviour, mannerisms and attitude be of God's..for it is said in the Bible

Rom 6:22
[22] But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.

And more clearly said by Jesus Himself..
Matt 7:20
[20] Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

By our fruits of holiness...what fruits? you may ask..
Gal 5:22-23
[22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

How do we have these fruits??
Gal 5:24
[24] And those [who are] Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

To crucify the fleshly desires and passions !!!! Which means? Putting death to sin...which is?
Gal 5:19-21
[19] Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: *adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, [20] idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, [21] envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told [you] in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

And this which in Romans which I prefer...
Rom 1:29-32
[29] being filled with all unrighteousness, *sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; [they are] whisperers, [30] backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; [32] who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Even those who approve those who practice all these sinful acts, is deserving of death...
Approve..you may say "I never agree with them that they can do all these things wad"
If you do not make your stand making it known to people and telling them not to do it...you are as guilty as those who did these sinful acts.

So therefore choose to live a righteous life, making a stand in this generation, standing out of the crowd and being the light in which you were called to be...

How to be a light?
Easy by knowing and having an intimate walk with the light Himself.
John 8:12
[12] Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

Walking with Jesus, knowing Him in an intimate manner.
Let's side track abit...remember the starting of this entry??
When I said that not all who call themselves christians or call Jesus LORD and Saviour can inherit the kingdom of heaven??

Matt 7:21
[21] "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Not even those who does miracles in His name or cast out demons in His name can enter into His knigdom!!!!

Matt 7:22-23
[22] Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' [23] And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

Then you may say "WAH !!! What is this !! if they can't go to heaven then who can?? "

You may also ask, "If Jesus said He had never known them. how could they cast out devils and do miracles in His name??"

The answer is that these men and women join themselves to Jesus for the benefits of salvation.Though they accept Him in order to be saved, as the children of Israel, they do not come to know the heart of God;they go only as far as His provision. They seek Him for their own benefit.

In Jesus' statement" I never knew you",the English word knew in the Greek word ginosko. It means intimacy. Jesus is actually saying, "I never intimately knew you."

In 1 Cor 8:3
[3] But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.

The word known is the same Greek word ginosko. God intimately knew those who love Him.

John 15:13
[13] Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

Laying your life down for Him, only those who does this can keep His Word.

John 14:24
[24] He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.

Love for Jesus is not what is said but what is lived.

1 John 2:3-5
[3] Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. [4] He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [5] But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

THE GLORY OF THE LORD

The Awesomeness of God, Creation Reveals His Greatness...Please read all of it, and catch a glimpse of The Greatness OF Our LORD GOD
Isa 40:21-26
[21] Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
[22] [It is] He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants [are] like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
[23] He brings the princes to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth useless.
[24] Scarcely shall they be planted, Scarcely shall they be sown, Scarcely shall their stock take root in the earth, When He will also blow on them, And they will wither, And the whirlwind will take them away like stubble.
[25] "To whom then will you liken Me, Or [to whom] shall I be equal?" says the Holy One.
[26] Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these [things], Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of [His] power; Not one is missing.

Quoted from the book :
God created the heavens with His hands by stretching out the universe like a canopy. And He was able to measure the universe with the span of His Hands !

Isa 40:12
[12] Who has measured the *waters in the hollow of His hand, Measured heaven with a span And calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales And the hills in a balance?

Have you ever pondered the size of the universe? It is beyond your mental capacities. Maybe if we attempt to catch a glimpse of the vastness of the universe,we'll come closer to a peek at His glory.
Scientists estimate that there are billions of galaxies in the universe, with each containing billions of stars. The sizes of these galaxies quite small compared to the space that exist between them.

Our Sun is located in one of these galaxies. When you look out into the sky at nightm you are not seeing a picture of the entire universe - just the wee galaxy in which we live, called the Milky Way. And you see only a portion of it, for most of the stars in our tiny galaxy are too far away to be seen with the naked eye.

So let's begin with just the galaxy we lived in. The closest star to our earth - other than our Sun - is 4.3 light-years away. You may be thinking, What is a light-year? It is simply the distance light travels in one year. Light travels at the speed of 186,282 miles per second. That is roughly 670,000,000 miles per hour. Compare that to the speed of airplanes, which fly approximately 500 miles per hour. As you can see light is very fast!!!

To give you an idea of how fast, let's assume you could fly a jumbo jet to the sun. When I fly to Asia, which is on the other side of the earth from where I live, it takes me approximately twenty-three hours. If I took that same plane on a nonstop flight to our sun, it would take roughly twenty-one years!!! For those who prefer driving, it would take about two hundred years, not including gas or rest stops. How long does it take for light to travel to the earth? The answer is a mere eight minutes and twenty seconds.

Let's leave the sun and consider the nearest star. We already know it is 4.3 light-years from the earth. If we built a scale model of the earth, the sun, and nearest, and made our earth the size of a peppercorn, the sun would be the size of an eight-inch-diameter ball. According to this size scale, the distance from earth to the sun would be twenty-six yards. Yet a scale airplane would take moew than twenty-one years to span that twenty-six yards distance.

So if this is earth's ratio to the sun's ratio, can you guess the distance from the nearest star to our peppercorn earth? Would you think it's a thousand yards, two thousand yards, or maybe a mile? Not even close. Our nearest star would be four thousand miles away from the peppercorn !! That means if you put the peppercorn earth on Miami, Florida, the sun would be twenty-six yards away, and the nearest star on our scale model would be positioned past Seattle, Washington, and into the Pacific Ocean a thousand miles out to the sea ! To reach this closest star by airplane would take approximately fifty-one billion years, nonstop !! Yet light from this star travels to earth only 4.3years.

Let's skip a few paragraph :
Isaiah declares that God measured this vast universe fon His thumb to His pinkie ! Solomon asserts by the Spirit of God, "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain you" (1 Kings 8:27)

K I think that's very long le...but it's just a glimpse of what's written....I would like to end with a few Scriptures and let God's word to do the talking...
Heb 1:3
[3] who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had *by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Col 1:17
[17] And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

I would like to end with this, have a glimpse of the Greatness of God !!
Job 38:2-35
[2] "Who [is] this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?
[3] Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me.
[4] "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell [Me], if you have understanding.
[5] Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it?
[6] To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone,
[7] When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
[8] "Or [who] shut in the sea with doors, When it burst forth [and] issued from the womb;
[9] When I made the clouds its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling band;
[10] When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors;
[11] When I said, 'This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!'
[12] "Have you commanded the morning since your days [began], [And] caused the dawn to know its place,
[13] That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it?
[14] It takes on form like clay [under] a seal, And stands out like a garment.
[15] From the wicked their light is withheld, And the upraised arm is broken.
[16] "Have you entered the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in search of the depths?
[17] Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Or have you seen the doors of the shadow of death?
[18] Have you comprehended the breadth of the earth? Tell [Me], if you know all this.
[19] "Where [is] the way [to] the dwelling of light? And darkness, where [is] its place,
[20] That you may take it to its territory, That you may know the paths [to] its home?
[21] Do you know [it], because you were born then, Or [because] the number of your days [is] great?
[22] "Have you entered the treasury of snow, Or have you seen the treasury of hail,
[23] Which I have reserved for the time of trouble, For the day of battle and war?
[24] By what way is light diffused, [Or] the east wind scattered over the earth?
[25] "Who has divided a channel for the overflowing [water], Or a path for the thunderbolt,
[26] To cause it to rain on a land [where there] [is] no one, A wilderness in which [there is] no man;
[27] To satisfy the desolate waste, And cause to spring forth the growth of tender grass?
[28] Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
[29] From whose womb comes the ice? And the frost of heaven, who gives it birth?
[30] The waters harden like stone, And the surface of the deep is frozen.
[31] "Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, Or loose the belt of Orion?
[32] Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season? Or can you guide the Great Bear with its cubs?
[33] Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you set their dominion over the earth?
[34] "Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, That an abundance of water may cover you?
[35] Can you send out lightnings, that they may go, And say to you, 'Here we [are]!'?

Great Book !!!!

Hey guys, you people out there...I've been reading this book A Heart Ablaze by this John Bevere guy.

It's really a very very good book, please get it from me, nigel, francel, bear, trina....whoever please!!!!! is talking about?

Phil 4:6
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;"

The answer is in Phil 4:6,
God is always faithful, like the verse says,
"...but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;"
In times of troubles and difficulties, do not be anxious,
just pray.God is in control.

Another verse is in Isaiah
Isa 26:3
"You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [Whose] mind [is] stayed [on You], Because he trusts in You."

The [] is emphasis...him is us,You is God....
Here it says perfect peace...wow...isn't this cool or what..
I don't really know what to write bout these verses today cause they are the answer themselves..

So christians....set your mind on God and trust in Him,the Bible is the answer,it is God's Word.Remember this verses and never forget them, cause it will be a reminder when we are in the mist of trials and difficulties...

God Bless You and May His Perfect Peace be with you always.

The Power Of Worship

What exactly is the power of worship??
Yesterday my friends were talking about the youth band for our region.

Then they starting to talk about who to get into the band, talents, abilities and stuff like that.Wasn't too happy though at the things they say...lolx sorry guys lolx no offence though :)

Well on my way back home, I was thinking what exactly is worship, there must be more than just the talents and how well one can play. So i decided to go and read the Book Of Leviticus, its name from the Latin word for "book of the Levites", well christians all knows that Levites are people who is set apart to worship God, so it can't be more appropriate to read from this book haha.

Well i didn't really get to finish the Book cause I was so tired, so I decided to go to sleep. But what do you know? God has other plans....He won't let me sleep,He spoke to me about the Book and I can't help but to write it down, and it is really messy man, I don't think anyone can read my handwriting at that time hahaha

So this is What He says :

Worship is a lifestyle
Worship isn't just music

People don't have to be able to sing or play well,
but with the right attitude towards worship,
I will pour out My Spirit,
And manifest My Power,

It's not the music,
Am I not powerful enough to move and touch the hearts of the people without the music?

Pause...lolx

How true....never in the Book of Leviticus says about singing well and playing good music..I love my Bible they give an explaination of the Book of Leviticus,it goes like this
"The major concern of the book is the holiness of the community of Israel.Holiness means to be set apart by God for a special purpose.Holiness is expressed in proper form of worship and living out the love of God in the routine of daily life."

Isn't that cool or what...lolx worship is a lifestyle needed to be live out consistently in praise and thanksgiving (Eph 5:15-21) and righteousness.
We must know that it's a privilege to be in the worship ministry and being able to worship God.

K so i thought it was over...so i went to bed, but again....have to wake up and write this down, cause God still has things to say haha manz I need my sleep man....lolx

Here it continues this is concerning more to the band but as individuals we can also learn sth coz it's the very word that proceeds from the heart and mouth of God:

It's the heart of worship that makes one a worshipper,
My people wants my presence not the music, above good music,
I tell you,if they want good music then they wouldn't come to church,
Do you want your youth band or My youth band?
If the answer is Me then pray and seek and ask Me to reveal to you the people,
that will be in the band, lest you say it's by me that this band is successful says The LORD.

There's great pride among you,
does your talents come from you?
your mother?
your father?
your ancester?
or is it from Me?
For do I not have the power to give and take away?
Therefore let it be known to all the earth, that I am LORD of ALL,
All things in heaven and earth belongs to Me,including talents.
All comes from ME, says The LORD.

So therefore humble yourself, lest you be divided.
For untity in Me comes from humility, and edifying of others (Phil 2:1-4)
For if a house divided against itself, that house cannot stand.(Matt 3:25)
If it's for Me then let it be of Me.
For if it's of Me,then why isn't Mine opinion asked first before all plannings?
Did you pray and ask Me first?
Therefore seek Me first and I will guide you.
Says The LORD.

Pray and I will reveal,
Seek and you will find,
Knock and the door shall be open,
Ask and it shall be given.
Man looks at the outward appearance, talents and giftings,
But I the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY looks at the heart.
Only a pure and righteous heart,
Can produce the sweetest sound of worship,
That I am well pleased with.
That will be able to draw Man,
That will be able to touch the very heart of Mine,
And I will make you successful.
Says the LORD.
How Much Do We Believe?

Christians !!!!
How much do we believe in Christ??
Do we believe enough be willing to die for the furtherance of the Gospel??
Like those believers in the early churches....they literally die for the for the gospel...

Paul said,
In Phil 1:12
12 But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel

In Rom 8:18
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Are We willing to suffer for Christ??
If Christ isn't real then what is this people dying/suffering for???

Christians !!! I urge you to be as one body to move towards the Great Commission that was given to us by our LORD JESUS CHRIST

Matt 28:16-20
The Great Commission
(Mark 16:14-18; Luke 24:36-49; John 20:19-23; Acts 1:6-8)
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them.
17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

It's important for us who have received this grace and mercy of God to share it with those who do not know the truth, for we do not deserve this which we have received,SO PREACH THE GOSPEL FOR CRYING OUT LOUD !!!

If we do not tell our friends who will....we do not know what tommorrow has in store for them.Who knows if their lives ends tommorrow???

When they reached the Gates of Heaven, and their name isn't in the Book of Life..then how shall we face them when we die and we're in Heaven and they're in Hell?

So Christians, lets walk in unity, fighting this war of good and evil...saving souls and this dying generation

Walk in Unity
Phil 2:1-4
Unity Through Humility
Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,
2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

And behave like christians, and not bring shame to the name of Jesus but to Him be the glory
Rom 12:9-21
Behave Like a Christian
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
20 Therefore
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head."
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

To God be the Glory forever and ever,Amen...

525600 minutes from now

My Youth Pastor, preached on sth tt God has been talking to me about, I was like WOW!!!! I was in shock haha I was going to post it today i mean something similiar

It's about Unity In the Body of Christ (for non christian it means the church) moving towards one goal as a Team, seeing God's plan for us as a Body and as well as individuals fulfilled so at the end of this year...which is 525600 minutes from now we can look back and say we have a fulfilling year and not have any regrets

He qouted from somebody which says " Never doubt that a small group of thinking, committed people can change the world...Indeed it's the only thing that EVER HAS"

Hopefully I got it correct haha....running a vision(means something that's from God..eg plans, destiny etc) together as a Body or Individuals will definitely cost you something..always cost you to sacrifice

He also quoted this from someone famous "If a vision doesn't cost you something,it's just a daydream"

How true is that? Very true....I mean you have to get up and do something, and when you do something you're putting your time, your effort maybe your money into it, this requires sacrifice

Making a choice to live righteous and doing what is right
Heb 11:24-26
[24] By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, [25] choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, [26] esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures *in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. (Hbr 11:24-26 NKJV)

Choosing or making a concious choice to live righteous...cause sin will only give u temporary enjoyment but enternal death....whereas living a righteous life is eternal life..

And God can use the smallest things or the most seemingly in significant to make a big impact on a generation...what God need is just a willing heart

Here's a story a true story in the bible it's in
2Kings 5
[1] Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but a leper. [2] And the Syrians had gone out on raids, and had brought back captive a young girl from the land of Israel. She waited on Naaman's wife. [3] Then she said to her mistress, "If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy." [4] And Naaman went in and told his master, saying, "Thus and thus said the girl who is from the land of Israel." [5] Then the king of Syria said, "Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel." So he departed and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand [shekels] of gold, and ten changes of clothing. [6] Then he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which said, Now be advised, when this letter comes to you, that I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy. [7] And it happened, when the king of Israel read the letter, that he tore his clothes and said, "[Am] I God, to kill and make alive, that this man sends a man to me to heal him of his leprosy? Therefore please consider, and see how he seeks a quarrel with me." [8] So it was, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, "Why have you torn your clothes? Please let him come to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel." [9] Then Naaman went with his horses and chariot, and he stood at the door of Elisha's house. [10] And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, "Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and [you shall] be clean." [11] But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, "Indeed, I said to myself, 'He will surely come out [to me], and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.' [12] [Are] not the *Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage. [13] And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, "My father, [if] the prophet had told you [to do] something great, would you not have done [it]? How much more then, when he says to you, 'Wash, and be clean'?" [14] So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. [15] And he returned to the man of God, he and all his aides, and came and stood before him; and he said, "Indeed, now I know that [there is] no God in all the earth, except in Israel; now therefore, please take a gift from your servant." [16] But he said, "[As] the LORD lives, before whom I stand, I will receive nothing." And he urged him to take [it], but he refused. [17] So Naaman said, "Then, if not, please let your servant be given two mule-loads of earth; for your servant will no longer offer either burnt offering or sacrifice to other gods, but to the LORD. [18] Yet in this thing may the LORD pardon your servant: when my master goes into the temple of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow down in the temple of Rimmon--when I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may the LORD please pardon your servant in this thing." [19] Then he said to him, "Go in peace." So he departed from him a short distance. [20] But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, "Look, my master has spared Naaman this Syrian, while not receiving from his hands what he brought; but [as] the LORD lives, I will run after him and take something from him." [21] So Gehazi pursued Naaman. When Naaman saw [him] running after him, he got down from the chariot to meet him, and said, "[Is] all well?" [22] And he said, "All [is] well. My master has sent me, saying, 'Indeed, just now two young men of the sons of the prophets have come to me from the mountains of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of garments.' " [23] So Naaman said, "Please, take two talents." And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and handed [them] to two of his servants; and they carried [them] on ahead of him. [24] When he came to the citadel, he took [them] from their hand, and stored [them] away in the house; then he let the men go, and they departed. [25] Now he went in and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, "Where [did you go], Gehazi?" And he said, "Your servant did not go anywhere." [26] Then he said to him, "Did not my heart go [with you] when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? [Is it] time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants? [27] Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever." And he went out from his presence leprous, [as white] as snow. (2Ki 5:1-27 NKJV)

This change history between Syria and Isreal...powerful !!!

And how bout the boy with only 5 loaves and 2 fish??
Matt 14:17
[17] And they said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish." (Mat 14:17 NKJV)

Matt 14:20-21
[20] So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. [21] Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children. (Mat 14:20-21 NKJV)

Amazing isn't it?? All this are true stories, it's just amazing what God can do with the little that we have

Zec 4:10
[10] For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the LORD, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth." (Zec 4:10 NKJV)

Basically it's saying do not despise the days of small beginings, with God all things are possible

And lastly mix with the right people, if you want to be Godly and righteous, be with rigtheous people and not with people of evil intentions
Prov 13:20
[20] He who walks with wise [men] will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed. (Pro 13:20 NKJV)

Be wise people and not fools, the truth is found in Christ and is right before you, believe whatever you like but that's not going to change the fact and the truth that Jesus is the Son of God and hell is real...

In closing...I would like to ask us a simple question...
What will you be like 525600 minutes from now?
Will you look back and regret?
Or will you say,"hey i had a fruitful year"?

God is Great

Have been busy this few days so wasn't able to post, but anyway have learned alot from Jesus this few days as I read the Bible, pray, worship and spoke with Him

It has been a tiring week but God is always faithful when you take time to seek His face and to hear His voice...He never fails to show up to teach and to guide, He is an awesame God

Well have been jumping around the entire Bible, reading different Books of the Bible...like rojak liddat haha anyway I'll post something from God tomorrow :)

I just wanna give thanks to Him for His protection and provision, Glory to my Father in Heaven for He is truely worthy to be praise, Amen

God's Love To Man and Man's Love To God

To love God isn't just simply giving or sacrificing, yes these are things you do to express your love for Him...

But also be thinking of Him and giving thanks unto Him who is good and is worthy of all praise.
Read Eph 5:15-21

[15] See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, [16] redeeming the time, because the days are evil. [17] Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. [18] And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, [19] speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, [20] giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, [21] submitting to one another in the fear of God. (Eph 5:15-21 NKJV)

Simple things like setting our minds on Him, asking God everyday to show us and help our finite minds to understand His plans for us for that day...and really spend time in His presence...taking time to be still and hear from Him

Jesus is alive...he is exalted over everything
Read Phil 2:9-11

[9] Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, [11] and [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phl 2:9-11 NKJV)

Jesus is alive and He is real, those who know Him...born again Christians lets choose to live a blameless life..worthy of bearing the name of Christ
as for those who do not know Him,He is the only way to salvation, the only way to eternal life.
John 3:16-17

[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. [17] For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (Jhn 3:16-17 NKJV)

God loves you, please don't let Him die in vain for He died for all...for you He went through torture, shame, humiliation and death...and He rose again just so you can have life

This blog is for...Jesus

Basically i wanna start this blog to tell the world all about Jesus and the things he has done or is doing in my daily life to live as a testimony and hopefully to be able to impact or gives answer to whoever is reading my blog....i don't know who u are but God knows...Glory be to Him who sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven....worthy is His name and His name is Jesus
